The canvas is the working surface of the Transformation Discovery Compass. The WHY sits in the centre, surrounded by the five other fields: Dynamic-Robust Organization, High-Impact Teams, Systemic Leadership, Adaptive Innovation and Responsive Strategy. Each field has two guiding questions.

How to work with it

Three steps: start with the WHY and capture the problem in one sentence. Collect observations, one per note and per field. Mark connections between fields and look for the mechanism that keeps the blockage in place. This yields two or three candidate questions.
